Cracked and frozen, this windshield reminds me of a backbone.

Building Abstract

I often look for relationships between apparently disparate subjects. The fence and poles were across the street and unrelated to the building. From my angle they merged into one design.

in The Colestin, a beautiful rural community 20 minutes south of Ashland, OR. Both images are the same, the top being a negative rendition and the bottom a positive.

Unframed Gull

While my intention was to place this seagull entirely within the picture frame, "Unframed Gull," taken in Bandon, OR, appeals to me largely because its not where its "supposed" to be.
